Workshop Series "Building an International Career"
Workshop Series for PhDs, weekly on Wednesday 3rd - 24th November 2021
Bayreuth - Bordeaux - Melbourne - Shanghai
After the success of our workshop series on mental health in times of COVID 19, we are tackling another key topic in a second workshop series for our PhD students: "Building an international career".
In four workshop sessions that are again conducted by our Bayreuth-Melbourne Network in cooperation with the Granduate School and the three Gateway Offices of the University of Bayreuth (Bordeaux, Melbourne & Shanghai) different aspects of building an international career will be highlighted and discussed:
- 3rd November: Funding and Grants: Germany, EU and beyond
- 10th November: International Science Communication
- 17th November: Building an International Network
- 24th November: Adjusting to Different Work Cultures
Again, we use the contacts of our international organizer team to bring together speakers and PhD students from Australia, China, France and Germany for presentations, discussions and for a mutual exchange.
The workshop is held online and free of charge.
