Network Member Professor Dr. Anna Köhler, experimental physicist at the University of Bayreuth, has been awarded the 2020 Max Born Prize by the German Physical Society (DPG) and the British Institute of Physics (IOP). Named after the German physicist, mathematician, and Nobel Prize winner, the prize has been awarded annually since 1973 for outstanding research contributions to physics. Professor Dr. Anna Köhler is the first female scientist to receive this award in 48 years.
