10 Scholarships advertised for ACIS 2019 & a Network Workshop Week in Melbourne

08.09.2018

The next big events at which our network will be present in Australia in February of next year will be:

  • The 9th Australian Colloid and Interface Symposium (ACIS): 3 – 7 February 2019 in Hobart, Tasmania, Australia
    >>> Extended Deadline for Abstract Submission: 13 September <<<

  • A subsequent network workshop week in Melbourne from 11-15 February 2019.

The network has announced 10 scholarships to encourage our German network students to seize the chance to meet like-minded network members and others at the ACIS 2019 in a very unique and appealing environment and to inspire further discussions and opportunities in a workshop week in Melbourne to be held the following week.

Detailed information about the ACIS can be found on the ACIS website.
Please also have a look at Events on our website.

Steps for your scholarship application:

  1. An accepted abstract is required for the approval of your scholarship
Deadline for submitting your abstract (just extended!)                      13 September 2018
  2. ACIS feedback to your abstracts:                                                          25 October 2018
  3. Deadline for submitting your scholarship application:
(accepted abstract attached)                                                                 29 October 2018
  4. Feedback to scholarship applications:                                                    06 November 2018
  5. ACIS registration deadline for presenters:                                                09 November 2018

Registration is to be carried out by each participant individually.
However, we would suggest you that you wait with your registration until your abstract has been accepted and your scholarship is approved by the project board.

Please send us the confirmation of your registration and the invoice. The network will pay the registration fees directly to the ACIS – so no one needs to make an advance payment.

Detailed information on the workshop week in Melbourne will announced soon.
